HISTORY

Aarght! Records began in 2007 by three members of the Ooga Boogas - Mikey Young, Per Bystrom and Richard Stanley. The label reached its apotheosis later that year with the addition of legal counsel Jonathan Wilmott of Wilmott & Wilmott Solicitors. Mikey Young has since departed, reasoning that Eddy Current Suppression Ring are now making so much money there is no point sharing it with three people who, quite frankly, were riding his coat-tails and slowing him down. He will no doubt rejoin the fold when the music industry has chewed him up and spat him out. We will of course be humble in considering his application to rejoin the label.

Aarght! CDs are distributed in Australia by Shock Records. Australian stores, please contact Shock to stock our CDs.

We distribute our vinyl ourselves. Please email us on the email address below for wholesale information.

USA: Our friend Bruce in Memphis helps us out with distribution there. Our vinyl is pressed in the USA and a quantity of each release is kept with Bruce for domestic shipping within the USA. This should enable distributors, mailorders and stores to get our releases for domestic prices. Please order through us at the email address below, and we will have Bruce send them from Memphis.
